My name is SEÑOR TREJO and I am one of the Spanish teachers here at Hubbard H.S. This will be my 11th year at Hubbard, but I have over 15 years of teaching experience with CPS. l was born and raised on the north side neighborhood of Rogers Park (Go Cubs!). I have a bachelor's degree in Secondary Education & Spanish from Northeastern Illinois University (NEIU). I also have a master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction with a minor in ESL/Bilingual Education from Concordia University at Chicago (CUC).
I am passionate about teaching my first language to those who are new to it and I also enjoy teaching native speakers the proper use of the Spanish language. This will be my 8th year teaching in the International Baccalaureate program, simply known as IB. This school year, I have the honor to be working with the freshman group. One of our goals here at Hubbard is that we strive for every student to get the IB Diploma and for our students to obtain as much college credit as possible.
